Personal Protection

Coveralls over long-sleeved shirt and long pants. Chemical-resistant footwear and socks. Chemical-resistant gloves made of barrier laminate, nitrile rubber ≥ 14 mils, neoprene rubber ≥ 14 mils, or viton ≥ 14 mils, except for flaggers and applicators using closed cabs. Chemical-resistant apron for mixers and loaders, and persons exposed to the concentrate. For overhead exposure wear chemical-resistant headgear. Wear a NIOSH-approved: Full face respirator with organic vapor cartridges and any R or P combination filters (TC-84A); or Gas mask with an organic vapor canister (TC-14G); or Powered air purifying respirator with an organic vapor cartridge and HE filter (TC-23C).
