Coveralls worn over short-sleeved shirt and short pants; Chemical resistant gloves including barrier laminate, butyl rubber 14 mils, nitrile rubber >14 mils, neoprene rubber > 14 mils, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) > 14 mils, or Viton > 14 mils, and Chemical resistant footwear plus socks; Protective eyewear (goggles, face shield or safety glasses).
Personal Protection
All handlers must wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, shoes and socks. Applicators using groundboom equipment with open cabs to treat cotton must wear long-sleeve shirts, long pants, shoes, and socks plus chemical-resistant gloves. Mixer/loaders supporting ground boom applications to com, canola, soybean, cotton, citrus fruit, pome fruit, stone fruit, and olives must wear long-sleeve shirts, long pants, shoes, and socks plus chemical resistant gloves.
