Mixers, loaders, applicators, flaggers and other handlers must wear: Long-sleeved shirt and long pants, Protective eyewear, Shoes plus socks, Chemical-resistant gloves made of any waterproof materials which meet the requirements of EPA selection Category A, when mixing, loading, or using any hand-held equipment, Additional PPE requirements for mixers and loaders supporting aerial application to rangelands, pasture lands, or non-crop land. These mixers/loaders must also wear a chemical-resistant apron and must wear a National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) approved half-mask respirator equipped with any N, R, P or HE series particulate air filters and has the approval number prefix (84A-XXX).
