Mixers, loaders, applicators, and other handlers using engineering controls must wear: Long-sleeved shirt and long pants Shoes plus socks Chemical resistant gloves, such as barrier laminate, butyl or nitrile rubber 14 mils, or Viton 14 mils if mixing or loading Chemical resistant apron if mixing or loading. Handlers performing tasks, such as cleaning equipment or spill clean-up for which engineering controls are not feasible must wear: Coveralls over long-sleeved shirt and long pants Chemical resistant gloves, such as barrier laminate, butyl or nitrile rubber 14 mils, or Viton 14 mils Chemical resistant footwear plus socks Chemical resistant apron if exposed to the concentrate Goggles, face shield, or safety glasses A respirator with an organic-vapor removing cartridge with a prefilter approved for pesticides (MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC-23C), or a canister approved for pesticides (MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC-14G), or a NIOSH-approved respirator with an organic vapor (OV) cartridge or canister with any R, or P, or HE prefilter.Restricted Entry Interval
