Personal Protection
Mixers, loaders, applicators, and other handlers using engineering controls must wear: Long-sleeved shirt and long pants Shoes plus socks Chemical resistant gloves, such as barrier laminate, butyl or nitrile rubber ≥ 14 mils, or Viton ≥ 14 mils if mixing or loading Chemical resistant apron if mixing or loading Handlers performing tasks, such as cleaning equipment or spill clean-up for which engineering controls are not feasible must wear: Coveralls over long-sleeved shirt and long pants Chemical resistant gloves, such as barrier laminate, butyl or nitrile rubber ≥ 14 mils, or Viton ≥ 14 mils Chemical resistant footwear plus socks Chemical resistant apron if exposed to the concentrate Goggles, face shield, or safety glasses A respirator with an organic-vapor removing cartridge with a prefilter approved for pesticides (MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC-23C), or a canister approved for pesticides (MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC-14G), or a NIOSH-approved respirator with an organic vapor (OV) cartridge or canister with any R, or P, or HE prefilter.
