Mixers, Loaders and Handlers exposed to the concentrate must wear: Long-sleeved shirt and long pants Chemical-resistant gloves, made of barrier laminate, nitrile rubber ≥ 14 mils, neoprene rubber ≥ 14 mils, or Viton ≥ 14 mils Chemical-resistant footwear and socks Chemical-resistant apron Protective eyewear Applicators and other handlers exposed to the diluted product must wear: Long-sleeved shirt and long pants Shoes plus socks In addition to the above PPE, applicators using a mechanically-pressurized handgun must wear: Coveralls worn over long-sleeved shirt and long pants Chemical-resistant gloves Chemical-resistant footwear plus socks Chemical-resistant headgear, if overhead exposure Chemical-resistant apron when mixing, loading, and cleaning equipment or spills A minimum of a NIOSH approved filtering facepiece respirator with any R or P filter (TC-84A); OR an elastomeric NIOSH approved particulate respirator with any N, R or P filter (TC-84A); OR a NIOSH approved powered air purifying respirator with an HE filter (TC-21C). In addition to the above PPE, applicators using back-pack sprayers on orchards and vineyards must wear: Coveralls worn over long-sleeved shirts and long pants Waterproof or chemical-resistant gloves. In addition to the above PPE, applicators applying dry bulk fertilizer with a specialized truck designed to treat more than 80 acres, must wear: a NIOSH approved respirator with: an organic-vapor removing cartridge with a prefilter approved for pesticides (MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC-23C) OR a canisters approved for pesticides (MSHA/NIOSH approval number prefix TC-14G) (MSHA/ NIOSH approval number prefix TC-23C) ; or a NIOSH approved respirator with (OV) cartridge ; or a canister with any N, R, P or HE prefilters.Restricted Entry Interval
